Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic & repair service of various brands of fire alarm systems
• Field level management of Parts&Smarts fire alarm installations and oversee all programming
• Commissioning of fire alarm installations
• Oversee tenant fit outs
• Provide leadership and mentoring of other fire alarm team members
• Be able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Be a resource for guidance, training, and general oversight of Fire Alarm Test & Inspect
  team
• Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are
  complete and operational according to contract requirements

Work Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in the Fire Alarm industry installing field devices and cabling
• License: MA D License B, A (preferred)
• Certification: EST-3 (required), EST-4 (preferred), Fireworks (preferred), NICET -Fire
  Alarm Systems Level II or above (preferred)
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal team
  and external customers
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to life and move equipment and tools weighting up to 40lbs
